Healing the Wounds of Trauma

Would you like to find healing for wounds of the heart? Would you like to experience wholeness in your emotions, spirit, soul—from trauma or loss? If you suffer from emotional pain, difficulty with forgiveness, unprocessed grief and loss and feelings of isolation, whatever the source, this support group may be for you.
Together, we will make a safe space for group members to:

• Discover what the Bible says about suffering

• Learn about trauma and its effects

• Explore any trauma or loss you may be carrying

• Release some of the emotional pain you carry

• Help you get unstuck, reconnected, and ready to move on in life

• Build resilience for the future

Each group is led by a trained facilitator using curriculum developed by the American Bible Society and incorporates mental health practices and spiritual principles. Group is not intended to replace professional counseling but is a helpful Christ-centered supplement. This is an 8-session group where weekly attendance is important for all group members to create an atmosphere of safety and continuity. Workbook cost: $20.00

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.

In your DivorceCare group you can experience: understanding and acceptance, encouragement and hope, good advice, and a structured approach to moving forward.

A support group to help you move through the grief process

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

The Next GriefShare group for Victory Church will be held online and begins Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The workbook cost is $20.00

The Marriage Course

Looking for a date night to intentionally invest in your most important relationship, your marriage? Set around a romantic dinner for 2, you can refresh your marriage with relaxed conversations on communication, resolving conflict, and more. This 7-session LifeGroup will meet at church for sessions 1 and 7 with a dinner for each couple, with the 5 sessions in between at home via Zoom (it works, trust us!). Course cost: $25.00.
