Your First Visit with Kids
Whether you’re bringing a newborn, a toddler, or school-aged children, we’re here to help your family feel at home from the moment you arrive.
At Victory Church, we believe church should be a place where every member of the family can experience God—including our youngest ones. From our loving nursery team to our engaging children’s environments, we’re committed to creating a safe, fun, and welcoming experience for your child while you attend service.
And if you’re not quite ready to check your child into a classroom, that’s okay too. We have options designed to help your family take the next step at your own pace.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can my children join me in service?
Your children are welcome in the auditorium, Family Room, cafe, and in our kids’ environments. Your family can choose the space that works best for you all to experience God and the care of his family.
Can I visit the classroom first?
Your children are welcome in the auditorium, Family Room, cafe, and in our kids’ environments. Your family can choose the space that works best for you all to experience God and the care of his family.
What will my child learn?
At VictoryKids, we want every child to experience God’s love and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
Each week, your child will learn age-appropriate biblical truths through worship, engaging Bible teaching, games, activities, and small group conversations. More than just learning Bible stories, our goal is to help kids build a real relationship with God, understand his love for them, and begin applying his truth in their everyday lives.
We believe parents are the most important spiritual influencers in a child’s life, so we partner with families by reinforcing what children are learning on Thursday nights and Sundays by providing resources to continue those conversations at home.
When can I drop my child off?
You don’t have to wait until the service begins!
Children are welcome to join VictoryKids:
- Before the worship service begins
- During worship
- After worship for the message
- Or whenever your family feels most comfortable
Every family is different, especially on a first visit. Whether your child stays for the entire service or just part of it, we’re here to help make the experience a positive one
What if my child has allergies or special needs?
Please let us know during check-in. We want to partner with your family to provide the best experience possible for all kids.
What are your church's safety policies?
Creating a safe environment for every child is one of our highest priorities.
At VictoryKids, we use a variety of safety measures to help children and families feel secure, including:
- Secure check-in and check-out procedures with matching parent and child tags
- Background checks and required clearances for all volunteers serving with children
- Child protection and safeguarding training for volunteers.
- You can read more about our entire church’s commitment to safeguarding here.
- A two-adult policy and accountability standards in all children’s environments
- Dedicated supervisors and safety team members available during every service
- Clear procedures for emergencies, injuries, illnesses, and parent communication
Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can be known by name and loved by God while parents enjoy service with confidence.
What if my child cries?
That’s completely normal.
Our team is experienced in helping children adjust to a new environment. If your child is having a difficult time settling in, we’ll contact you.
What if my child is nervous?
Many children need a little time to adjust to a new environment—and that’s completely normal.
Our volunteers are trained to help children feel welcome and comfortable. We’ll never force a child to separate from a parent, and we’ll work with you to determine the best approach for your child.

Family Room
Take the Next Step at Your Own Pace
Every family is different.
Some parents are ready to check their children into VictoryKids right away. Others prefer a little time to get comfortable first.
That’s why we’ve created a Family Room where parents can enjoy the service through a live video feed while remaining with their children. It’s a relaxed environment designed to help families experience church together while taking their next step at their own pace.
The Family Room includes:
- Live video stream of the worship service and message
- Comfortable seating
- Toys and activities for little ones
- Space for nursing mothers and caregivers
- A relaxed environment where children can be children
The Family Room is conveniently located next to the family bathroom, which has a changing pad and diapers for use.
