Family time is valuable and precious. Family traditions are the foundation to a child’s development of self and values. This Easter season VictoryKids wants to encourage our families to integrate a Jesus-centered tradition into the mix. We love Easter egg hunts, pictures with that lovable Bunny, and dyeing eggs, but we also want to remember that Easter is the story of Jesus.

On Palm Sunday, each child (PreK to 5th grade) will receive a “bag” that contains all the supplies for Easter Story stones to be completed each day of Holy Week (from April 14-April 21). There’s a marker to draw on each of the 8 stones in the bag, as well as the guide the directs daily family devotions and what to draw! There’s also a little Easter egg with a yummy treat – you can save that as a reward for a week of spending time focusing on Jesus’ story.

Much thanks to Julie Weathers for writing our devotional – and the Weathers kiddos for making instructional videos for all VictoryKids!
