About Victory Church

We worship a real, living God who loves you and wants you to succeed in life. We believe that God is for you and that He still changes lives for the good. Each of us has our own story. Please be our guest this Sunday and consider joining your story with ours.

Welcome to Victory

About us: Victory Church is a young, new, dynamic, and exciting contemporary church – a surprising claim for a church founded in Norristown in 1935! We can make that claim because over the years we have adapted our style and methods to reach a changing culture with an unchanging message. In recent years, we have grown from a relatively small neighborhood church in Trooper to a regional church adjacent to Route 422, attended by hundreds of people each weekend.

One of the key characteristics of Victory Church is our diversity. Because of the work of the Holy Spirit, our congregation consists of people from dozens of nationalities and ethnicities. In a society that is as fragmented as ours, Victory Church stands as a model of true community, united not by our personal preferences but by our common experience of the goodness of God. We believe you will find it to be a welcoming place, too.

Our Mission

We are called to equip a caring, committed community of worshipers to reach their world for Jesus.

Our Core Values

God is not a distant, impersonal deity. He wants a real, personal, and loving relationship with every individual on earth. As we grasp God’s great love for us, we are able to love him in a way that touches every part of what it means to be human. Our goal at Victory is to foster an atmosphere that makes it easy to experience God’s love.

When we know how much God loves us, and we love him in return, it’s much easier to love other people. God intends for the Church to be the kind of community that demonstrates to a broken and hurting world what it means to love others.

Our love for God and our love for each other can’t be limited to what happens within the walls of a church building. We want to welcome the world around us into a loving relationship with God and into the care of his family.

God has called every one of us into an amazing partnership with himself. We want to be intentional about helping people be all God has created us to be.

At Victory we love kids and believe strongly in raising up the next generation.  We offer a full range of programs and services for kids from infant through 12th grade, which are both fun and will enhance your child’s growth in Jesus.  You can find information on all ages at getvictory.net/kids or getvictory.net/youth

It’s very easy, all you need to do is attend our Fully Engaged Membership class which meets regularly throughout the year on Sunday mornings.  To find out more simply go to getvictory.net/membership.

Instead of providing adult Sunday school classes on Sunday mornings in the church building, we provide small group environments, called LifeGroups, that meet at both a variety of times during the week in people’s homes as well as in the church building.   We believe these “LifeGroups” provide the best atmosphere and size to help us both grow and feel a sense of belonging in the local church.

That’s really easy!  To learn more about our LifeGroups or to enroll simply go to getvictory.net/groups, call the office at 610.676.0422, or email lisa@getvictory.net

Absolutely we do!  Baptisms take place monthly at Victory.  You can find more info and sign up at getvictory.net/baptism or call the office at 610.676.0422 or email info@getvictory.net

We typically celebrate the Lord’s supper once a month on the first Sunday of each month.  You don’t have to be a member or regular attender to participate in communion at Victory.  All we require is that you have a personal relationship through being born again with Jesus Christ.  For more information on that please email info@getvictory.net or call the office at 610.676.0422.

There are plenty of places for you to get involved here at Victory.  We strongly believe that as people choose to serve, whether at the church, in the local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those who see them giving their time to help someone else.  That’s why we offer numerous opportunities to serve in the areas of Sunday service, community outreach, missions, and all throughout the week here at Victory Church.  For more information please email info@getvictoy.net or call the office at 610.676.0422.  You can also go to getvictory.net/outreach to see some opportunities to serve as well.

Victory Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God Fellowship of Churches.

From time to time Victory Church does accommodate requests to use our facilities. Please contact the church office Monday through Thursdays at 610.676.0422 for more information on reserving a space for an event.

What We Believe

It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. Each time we partake of communion we remember Jesus lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

In order to receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives. God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and powerful lives in order to help others more effectively. In order to live the holy, fruitful, and power-filled lives God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water, set our mind on Him and His purpose, and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, strengthen the Church, and share the Gospel with the community in which we live.

History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter a new heaven and a new earth.
